About Us

Ananas Design was born in midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic when our founder was stuck in lockdown in Singapore seeking a way to make the best out of the situation. The worst unknown variable was for the situation to prolong with travel and nightlife being restricted for the forseeable future, so instead of being able to go to a beachy tropical holiday place, we have to create this experience at home.

The pineapple was soon decided on to be the centrepiece, as it is associated with tropical good vibes, sweetness and a symbol for hospitality and togetherness. For our first product, we had the vision to design a cocktail shaker that can bring people together for a fun time and being a nice piece of decor at the same time.

ANANAS DESIGN - Pineapple is translated to "Ananas" in 42 different languages, with English being one of the exceptions. We will gradually add more products, and yes you guessed right, we stay true to the 🍍
